TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) has released its forecast for the hilal to determine the start of Syawal 1446 H, marking Eid al-Fitr in 2025.
According to BMKG, there is a strong possibility that Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia will be celebrated simultaneously by both the government and Muhammadiyah. Previously, Muhammadiyah had set Eid for Monday, March 31, 2025.
