Sea horse Mikawa’s “Be with” project: Fostering Inclusion Through basketball
the Sea Horse Mikawa basketball team is deepening its commitment to community engagement through its “Be With” sustainability project. A key initiative within this project, the “Kakuno Seat,” spearheaded by player Ryogo Kakuno, recently hosted its inaugural event, marking a meaningful step in fostering inclusivity and connection within the Nishi-mikawa region.
on March 22nd, the initiative welcomed 22 students and 19 parents from special needs schools in the Nishi-Mikawa area to attend the game against the Ryukyu Golden Kings. Beyond simply attending the game, the students received exclusive merchandise designed by Kakuno himself, adding a personal touch to the experience.
Beyond the Game: Cultivating Meaningful Interactions
The impact extended beyond the basketball court. Following the game, an exchange event was organized to facilitate interaction and camaraderie among the students.Kakuno engaged with students who had previously participated in the Nishi-Mikawa Regional Special Needs School Joint Basketball Clinic in November, creating a agreeable and supportive environment for connection.
We will continue to promote sports and provide sports education to realize a shining society through smiles.
Partnerships for progress: A Collaborative Approach
This impactful initiative is made possible through a collaboration with Aisin Well Smile Co., Ltd., a member of the Aisin Group. Such partnerships are crucial for expanding the reach and effectiveness of community-focused programs.
corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives are increasingly vital for sports teams. Such as, the NBA Cares program has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in community programs, demonstrating the potential for sports to drive positive social change. Similarly, European football clubs often run extensive community outreach programs focused on education, health, and social inclusion.
SDGs in Action: Contributing to a Enduring Future
The “Be With” project aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focusing on:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being: Promoting well-being through sports and social interaction.
- SDG 4: Quality Education: Providing educational opportunities and experiences for students with special needs.

“Be With”: A Vision for the Future

The “Be With” project embodies Sea Horse Mikawa’s commitment to extending its influence beyond the basketball court. By actively engaging with the community and promoting social inclusion, the team aims to create a brighter and more equitable future for all.

A thorough look at the shifts in digital advertising strategies and their impact on businesses.
The Shifting Sands of Online Marketing
the digital advertising realm is in constant flux, demanding that businesses remain agile and informed to maintain a competitive edge. Recent trends indicate a significant move towards more personalized and privacy-conscious advertising strategies.
Personalization: Reaching the Right Audience
Personalized advertising, which tailors ads to individual user preferences and behaviors, is becoming increasingly crucial. This approach contrasts sharply with broad, untargeted campaigns that often result in wasted resources. By leveraging data analytics and customer insights, businesses can create highly relevant ads that resonate with their target audience. For example, a recent study by McKinsey found that companies that excel at personalization generate 40% more revenue than those that don’t.
Privacy Concerns: A New Era of Transparency
Growing concerns about data privacy are reshaping the digital advertising landscape.Consumers are demanding greater control over their personal details, and regulatory bodies are responding with stricter regulations like GDPR and CCPA. This has led to a shift towards more transparent and ethical advertising practices. businesses are now exploring choice methods of data collection and targeting, such as contextual advertising and first-party data strategies.
The Rise of Contextual Advertising
Contextual advertising, which displays ads based on the content of the webpage or app being viewed, is gaining traction as a privacy-friendly alternative to behavioral targeting. This approach allows businesses to reach relevant audiences without relying on personal data. As an example, an article about hiking gear might display ads for outdoor equipment retailers. This method respects user privacy while still delivering targeted and effective advertising.
First-Party Data: Building Direct Relationships
Collecting and utilizing first-party data, which is information gathered directly from customers, is becoming increasingly vital. This data can be used to create personalized experiences and targeted advertising campaigns without relying on third-party cookies. By building direct relationships with customers and offering value in exchange for their data, businesses can create a sustainable and privacy-compliant advertising strategy.
The Future of Digital Advertising
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, businesses must adapt to the changing demands of consumers and regulators. By embracing personalization, prioritizing privacy, and exploring new advertising strategies, companies can navigate the complexities of the digital world and achieve their marketing goals. The key is to remain flexible, informed, and committed to ethical and transparent practices.
