Kevin McHugh has been appointed Finn Harps manager, succeeding Darren Murphy who departed last week after a difficult start to their First Division campaign.
The Donegal native made his Harps debut as a 17-year-old in 1998 and across two stints at the club, scored 186 goals in 438 appearances for the club.
He stands as the fifth-highest goalscorer in League of Ireland history.
After hanging up his boots in 2016, McHugh began his coaching journey as head coach of the club’s Under-15 side before being appointed as Head of the Finn Harps academy in 2017.
