Rugby Australia and the ACT Brumbies are pleased to confirm Lachlan Lonergan has re-signed for a further two years, becoming the latest Wallaby to recommit to Australian Rugby until at least the home Rugby World Cup in 2027.
Born and raised in the nation’s capital, the dynamic hooker came through the Canberra and Australian Rugby pathways, starting in the 2019 side that fell short in the U20 World Championship Final against France in Argentina.
The now 25-year-old made his Super Rugby Pacific debut in 2020 against the Chiefs in Hamilton and has since gone on to represent his boyhood club on 52 occasions.
