Google showcased Gemini Live’s screen-sharing capabilities at Google I/O 2024. The Project Astra feature is now finally rolling out to the Google Pixel 9 series and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices for free. The new Gemini Live camera and screen-sharing features allow you to have a conversational AI chatbot answer questions about what you’re looking at in real-time.
In a blog post, Google outlined five examples to demonstrate the use cases of Gemini Live’s new features. For instance, you can point your camera at a cluttered closet or messy drawer and ask Gemini for suggestions on how to organize it by categorizing items and maximizing space.
