Top brass at the organisation are planning to open applications on Wednesday, April 23, for four weeks “provided all necessary materials have been finalised”.
Redundancies will be capped at €300,000, similar to the organisation’s 2017 and 2021 voluntary exit schemes.
The voluntary exit package will be broken into two parts – “voluntary severance” for staffers aged under 55 and “voluntary early retirement” for staffers aged over 55.
“To be eligible, staff must have at least two years of continuous service. Members of the Leadership Team are not eligible to apply,” RTÉ staff were told today.
