Six year old killed in Galway crash remembered as ‘bright spark’

Dozens of flower bouquets, colourful drawings from classmates and photographs adorned the room as those who knew Ula passed through to pay their respects to her grieving family, including her heartbroken parents Egle and Linas, who bravely and graciously thanked each person for coming.

Ula’s life was cut cruelly short when she was involved in a road accident while cycling in Galway on Saturday, April 5, at the junction of Headford Road and Sandyvale Lawn.

As eulogies were read out by Ula’s schoolteachers from Scoil Rois Primary School, it became clear that the little girl had made a big impact during her short time on earth.
