We married on Gold Cup day to remember my dad in a fun way

We got married on March 14 of this year, which was Cheltenham Gold Cup day. Our day was choreographed around that. My dad passed away six years ago, and he was very much my pal. We wanted to make him part of our decision-making for the day. 

My dad was a horse-racing fan, and I grew up watching it with him. Every year, Cheltenham was a big thing we would do together.

We picked the Gold Cup date to remember him in a really fun way. We brought in screens to the restaurant and I got everyone a bet for the Gold Cup. We all watched it together and it was a lovely way to remember him, but also a fun thing for the guests.

We had the ceremony in Marco Pierre White in Donnybrook at half one….
