Former England women’s striker te Eni Aluko says she is looking forward to continuing her libel case against Joey Barton (right)following a High Court ruling in her lawsuit against him.
Aluko, who now works as a pundit, is suing her fellow former footballer over two posts he made in January last year on social media site X. In one post, Barton, whose clubs included Manchester City, Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers, called Aluko a “race card player” – something she denies.
