MANILA, Philippines — Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Secretary Frederick Go will fly to the United States soon to meet with US Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer to negotiate the reciprocal tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on Philippine goods.
In a press conference in Malacañang, Go said the Philippine government had received a “positive response” from the USTR on its request for a dialogue to discuss the new tariff.
