Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, with its incidence continuously rising. This increase is partly attributed to the emergence of new favorable subsets of cancers of unknown primary (CUP), including CRC CUP, which are treated as CRC and contribute to the current increased incidence of CRC.1 With the continuous rise in its incidence, early diagnosis and treatment of CRC have become increasingly crucial.
