A child has been injured in a farm accident in Co Cork.
The youngster, who is understood to be a boy aged under seven years, was injured after an incident involving livestock on a farm over 30km outside Cork city.
It happened shortly after noon on Sunday.
The precise circumstances of the incident are unclear but it is understood the youngster was injured after being kicked by a cow.
Emergency medical treatment was provided at the scene before the child was taken to Cork University Hospital (CUH).
