Samsung’s rollout of One UI 7 based on Android 15 has been a mess, to put it mildly, but hopefully the company will fare better with the upcoming One UI 8 based on Android 16, a version which Google has been testing for quite a while now as it gets ready to officially release it before the end of June, much sooner than usual.
Samsung seems to have begun internal testing of One UI 8 as well, seeing as how today we’re treated to leaked shots of the upcoming Android skin. Spoiler alert: the big design changes all came with One UI 7, its successor seems to basically keep everything intact while upgrading the base OS to Android 16.
