Tipperary 3-21
Clare 0-21
Tipperary have moved top of the oneills.com Munster GAA Hurling Under 20 Championship after a 3-21 to 0-21 victory over Clare at Sixmilebrige.
Tipp had opened their campaign with a two-point loss to Limerick at the end of March but a win over the Banner adds to a triumph over Cork at the start of this month.
Three second-half goals made the difference from Brendan Cummins’ side who had led by three points at the interval with Conor Martin weighing in with two goals either side of a Paddy McCormack effort.
Tipp, who lead the provincial table on four points, meet Waterford in Thurles next week, while Clare will return to action against Limerick in Rathkeale on 30 April.
