TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Indonesia’s flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia, is preparing as many as 14 aircraft to serve Hajj pilgrims this year. Garuda’s President Director Wamildan Tsani Panjaitan said the company will carry 90,933 pilgrims in 2025, who will be flown from seven embarkation points.
“With a total of 90,933 passengers to be carried from Banda Aceh, Medan, Jakarta, Solo, Balikpapan, Makassar, and Lombok,” said Wamildan during a meeting with the DPR Commission VIII in Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
