Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia’s unwavering support for Palestinian independence was conveyed by Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR), Puan Maharani, during a meeting with the Chairman of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Rawhi Fattouh.
“Supporting Palestine is a moral and historical obligation for Indonesia. We remain steadfast in our commitment to the Palestinian people’s struggle, a commitment that has been consistent since Indonesia’s independence,” Maharani told Fattouh, according to her statement released on Sunday.
