The Irish Independent can confirm that a member of the public contacted gardaí on Friday after uncovering what they suspected was potential human matter.
As a consequence, An Garda Síochána reconvened a search in this area and recovered body tissue, a senior source has confirmed.
There is a chance that the body tissue could be linked to an animal, however, there are indications that the tissue is human.
