With a thrilling 2024/25 Premier League campaign drawing to a close, Alan Shearer has selected his Team of the Season.
The Premier League record goalscorer and Hall of Fame inductee has revealed who he considers to have been the standout performers over the past 10 months, and gives honourable mentions to those who just missed out on his team.
Four players have been picked from champions Liverpool, with Arne Slot also named Shearer’s best manager of the season.
Runners-up Arsenal boast two players, the same number as EFL Cup winners Newcastle United. Stars from three other teams also feature in Shearer’s line-up.
