Top of the 10th
Brendon Little is pitching Xander Bogaerts on second. Little got two quick outs but gave up a single, and the Padres were ahead. Little got Machado to ground out to end the inning.
Bottom of the 10th
Nathan Lukes at second. Jonatan Clase, who had a great day, singled Lukes home. After Springer flied out, Kirk came in to pinch-hit for Heineman and singled, Clase to season. But Bo struck out and Vlad popped out to right.
Top of the 11th
Machado at second, Little still in. Jackson Merrill flied out. But Gavin Sheets (him again??) singled in the go-ahead run. Jake Cronenworth lined out. Braydon Fisher came in and got Elias Diaz on a pop-up…
