TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs has scheduled an isbat meeting or moonsighting confirmation hearing for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, to determine the start of Dhul Hijjah 1446 Hijri. The outcome of this session will officially set the date for this year’s Eid al-Adha.
“The isbat session will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs office on Jalan MH Thamrin, Jakarta, starting at 4:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time),” said Arsad Hidayat, Director of Islamic Religious Affairs and Sharia Development, in his statement on Thursday, May 23.
