MLSE Boss speaks after Shanahan exit

The head of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment addressed the media a day after announcing that longtime Toronto Maple Leafs president Brendan Shanahan was out.

President and CEO Keith Pelley said the club will not replace Shanahan, as he thanked him for his 11-season tenure at the helm of the Toronto hockey club.

The Leafs exited the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday after losing to the defending champion Florida Panthers in Game 7 of the second round. Toronto hasn’t won a Game 7 since 2004.
