The semi-final of the Lory Meagher Cup will take place in Mullingar this weekend, with Monaghan and New York battling it out for the chance to face Cavan in this year’s final.
There have already been quite a few fixtures in this season’s competitions, with six teams taking part in the group stages. The end result of that process would see Cavan top the table, earning them a spot in the decider.
While Monaghan would finish second ahead of the likes of Longford, Leitrim, Lancashire, and Warwickshire, they will have to play against opponents from across the Atlantic in order to reach the final.
