A POPULAR Irish leisure complex was evacuated today after a “suspicious object” was found on the premises.
The Dundonald Ice Bowl in Co Down was evacuated earlier this afternoon after a “suspicious” package was opened on the premises.
Emergency services, including the PSNI, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, attended the scene.
It is believed the package that was opened contained an unknown powder substance.
Issue a safety alert the arena warned people to stay away from the area.
