
With the help of changes in Android Auto, Spotify is getting a brand new app for the platform that includes support for its “Jam” feature.
As a part of its car-related announcements for Google I/O, an overhauled Spotify experience for Android Auto was unveiled. This updated app relies on Google’s “Car App Library” for Android Auto and Android Automotive OS, which now allows for more flexibility in how apps can be developed for these platforms.
In Spotify’s case, the major change coming is support for “Jam” on Android Auto.
