TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – United States President Donald Trump has banned Harvard University from admitting foreign students. The Trump administration has also halted the certification of student and exchange visitor programs at the top university, as it is deemed to foster violence, antisemitism, and coordinate with the Communist Party of China.
Harvard University is the oldest university in the United States, established on September 8, 1636, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Originally named New College, its primary purpose was to educate ministers in the American colonies.
