Cork’s Ger Millerick ruled out of Munster final

Cork will be without Ger Millerick for Saturday week’s Munster SHC final but manager Pat Ryan is waiting to see how the other injured players fare.

Millerick was forced off in Sunday’s win over Waterford with what has been confirmed as a broken finger, while Jack Cahalane (hamstring) is also on the injured list.

“Ger Millerick is probably the only fella who will definitely be out,” Ryan said.

“He’ll be out for about three-to-four weeks, he has a fracture in his finger. It’s not too bad but it needs to be in a splint for three weeks so hopefully he’ll be back for the next part of the All-Ireland series.
