The Indian national football team was placed in Group H alongside Qatar, Bahrain and Brunei for the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers.
The official AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers draw ceremony was held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.
A total of 15 spots are up for grabs for the seventh edition of the AFC U23 Asian Cup, which is a biennial international football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation for the men’s U23 national teams from the continent.
Saudi Arabia have already qualified for the tournament as the host nation. A total of 44 teams, divided into 11 groups of four each, will be competing for the remaining 15 spots during the Qualifiers.
