In recent years, home testing kits for a wide variety of conditions have entered the market. For people who can’t get to a GP due to cost or availability, these kits allow you to check thyroid function, iron levels, UTIs, vaginal infections and STIs at home.
The market is growing. According to Transparency Market Research, the home testing kits market will be worth $12.3 billion by 2034, an annual growth rate of 5.9pc.
