Training while pregnant
The European U23 silver medallist is still capitalising on the star status bestowed on her as an elite sprinter. This year, she got involved in a whole new world – high-intensity exercise while pregnant.
“When I was younger, I always thought I would stop my career in 2024 because I wanted kids. Then, when I reached 2024, and I was like, ‘I’m not done as an athlete! So why would I stop? To have kids? I can do both’.”
The 29-year-old was inspired by the increasing number of track athletes who are also mothers, including Olympic champions Allyson Felix, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, and Faith Kipyegon.
