The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is expected to bring rains in several areas in Luzon in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. daily weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan should expect wet weather on the start of the work week.
Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, CALABARZON, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, and the rest of Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Habagat.
These moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods or landslides.
