House resumes session June 2

The House of Representatives is set to tackle key measures when it resumes session on Monday, June 2.

Congress, which went on a break in early February, will adjourn session next week. The lawmakers of the 20th Congress will open session on July 28.

“Now is the final stretch of the 19th Congress, and we intend to make every day count,” said Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez in a statement on Sunday.

Among the measures up for third or final are House Bill (HB) 10987 or the proposed Anti-Offshore Gaming Operations Act, HB 11359 or the proposed Philippine Civil Registry Act, HB 11430 or the proposed Declaration of State of Imminent Disaster Act, HB 11395 or…
