Late Geasley point secures Senior Camogie League title for St Finbarr’s against Éire Óg

A late point from Farrah Geasley saw St Finbarr’s win the Cork club senior league title at Castle Road on Monday night.

Credit must go to both clubs for a highly competitive game considering the torrential rain and driving wind.

Both played their part, with the Barrs having the wind in the first half as they tried to push ahead, led by Kate Wall.

But huge credit must go to Éire Óg who battled all the way to the end, with the likes of Ally McGrath, Clara Murphy and Isobel Sheehan prominent for them.
