(UPDATE) POLICE revealed on Wednesday that the driver of the truck that figured in the deadly May 28 crash in Quezon City that left three people dead tested positive for illegal drugs.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said that the 38-year-old driver has been charged for violation of Republic Act 10586, otherwise known as the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013.
Silvio said that charges have already been filed before the city prosecutor’s office, including complaints of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicides, multiple physical injuries, and multiple damage to property.
