A doctor accused of dangerous driving causing the death of his young daughter on the M6 in Co Westmeath last year has had his case adjourned to allow his defence access to data from the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Babak Meshkat, of An Cimín Mór, Cappagh Road in Co Galway, appeared at Mullingar Circuit Criminal Court in connection with the single-vehicle crash at Farthingstown, Rochfortbridge, Co Westmeath, on 8 February 2024.
Mr Meshkat’s six-year-old daughter died from her injuries nine days later at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Temple Street in Dublin.
