Belle Brockhoff, one of Australia’s most accomplished winter athletes, announced on Friday (16 January) that she is ending her snowboard cross career.
After 15 years of competing at the highest level, the three-time Olympian’s retirement comes three weeks before the start of Milano Cortina 2026.
“Snowboarding has given me so much over the years,…But right now, the competitive chapter that defined so much of my life has come to a close,” Brockhoff, 33, said in a post on Instagram.
“I will miss everything that snowboard cross has given me. It has been my passion, my identity and my greatest adventure. But above all, I’m most grateful for the lifelong friendships that have come from it.
