David Clifford is set to make his first appearance of the year when Kerry face Cork in the McGrath Cup final at Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday.
The reigning footballer of the year has been named to start in a forward line which also features Seán O’Shea. There are six other changes from the side which defeated Waterford last weekend. Shane Ryan, Evan Looney, Dylan Casey, Mike Breen, Joe O’Connor, and Tomás Kennedy all get the nod.
Cork have also named a strong team for the game. There are 14 changes from the side which lost to Limerick on Sunday. Jacob O’Driscoll is the only player to retain his spot in the starting line-up.
