Pekanbaru, Riau (ANTARA) – Deputy Minister for Transmigration Viva Yoga Mauladi has assessed that moris pineapple can be developed as a leading commodity in transmigration areas, as it can be processed into value-added products that support the local economy.
He said the development of moris pineapple is not limited to fresh consumption, but also offers broad downstream opportunities, ranging from processed beverages to fiber-based derivative products.
“We will prepare a plan to develop moris pineapple through a moris pineapple production house program because it turns out that every part of this pineapple is useful,” Mauladi said here on Saturday.
