Manokwari, West Papua (ANTARA) – The West Papua provincial government has decided to utilize public spaces and social activities to expand the reach of the Free Health Check (CKG) program as part of efforts to improve community health.
Head of the West Papua Health Office, Dr. Alwan Rimosan, said intensified outreach is urgently needed in the province, given the low number of residents who have benefited from the national program so far.
“Out of more than 500,000 people in West Papua, only about 40,000 have accessed CKG services. In Manokwari District, only around 10,000 of nearly 200,000 residents have participated in the program,” he said in Manokwari on Saturday.
