The Bone Temple’ Runs to Decent Box Office Start

Have you heard the good word of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple? It sounds like a good, but not great amount of followers—sorry, “Jimmies”—did.

Per Variety, the zombie flick opened to $31.1 million worldwide. While domestic audiences only saw it to the tune of a projected $15 million, it fared better overseas, where it’s made $16.2 million across 61 international territories. That domestic take is behind the $20-22 million it was targeted to earn over the holiday, but it could have legs in the weeks ahead.
