Australia has dropped from sixth to seventh place in the 2026 Henley Passport Index, which ranks passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access visa-free or with visa-on-arrival privileges. This year, Australia shares the 7th spot with the UK, Latvia, and Liechtenstein, with a total of 182 destinations accessible to Australian citizens, down from 189 in 2025.
