‘Absolutely devastated’ – Irish singer broken hearted after death of girlfriend

Ever since news emerged of Ciara’s tragic death, friends, family and complete strangers have been sharing tributes online

Irish singer, Luke Thomas, says he is “absolutely devastated” after the tragic passing of his girlfriend, Ciara Gunning.

Ciara passed away peacefully in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin surrounded by her family on Monday January 19.

The Swing Cats front man Luke, took to social media to pay tribute to his girlfriend. In a short message the Co. Dublin singer said he was “absolutely devastated”.

Ciara’s funeral is due to take place on Friday morning. Ciara’s family issued a statement following her heartbreaking passing.
