The Irish Times don’t know it yet but they’ve just started a food war in Donegal.
The newspaper’s brilliant magazine today declares that Downings eaterie, Fisk Seafood Bar, offers the best fish and chips in the county.
The recommendation comes from reporter Freya McClements as part of an entertaining piece entitled ‘Ireland’s favourite food destinations.’
Having sampled the delights of Fisk, we can certainly vouch that it’s top notch.
But is it the best in all of Donegal?
