You don’t have to dig deep to have a great time during Pokémon GO’s Into the Depths event. The adventure commences January 27 at 10:00 a.m. and continues through February 1, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During this time Glimmet—the Ore Pokémon—makes its Pokémon GO debut, appearing on Routes and as a reward for completing Field Research and Timed Research. The Rock- and Poison-type Pokémon originally discovered in Paldea is known to lurk in caves, scattering poisonous powder like pollen. Other event-themed Pokémon that will worm their way into the wild include Diglett, Dunsparce, Meditite, and Yungoos.
