Scientists are tackling a major hurdle in materials science , accurately simulating the complex behaviour of strongly correlated quantum systems. Chakradhar Rangi, Aadi Singh, and Ka-Ming Tam, all from Louisiana State University, have developed a novel real-time iteration scheme for Dynamical Mean-Field Theory (DMFT) that promises to unlock new possibilities for near-term quantum simulation.
