There’s a strange irony in a feminist feeling unsafe to meet in Marseilles, famously one of France’s most open cities, as a result of threats from left wing activists. Nina, a spokeswoman for the French feminist group Collectif Némésis, grew up in a poorer area of north Marseille with her grandmother.
