Tipperary University Hospital management is advising of changes to recent visiting restrictions at the hospital from Thursday, January 29.
Having been closed to visitors since January 9 due to recent flu and virus outbreaks, visiting of patients is now permitted daily from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Each patient is only permitted two visitors during this time.
“We continue to monitor and review the situation on a regular basis,” said a HSE spokesperson.
“Hospital management and staff would like to thank the public for their cooperation and understanding as part of these efforts to protect our most vulnerable patients.”
