Lafaer, the company who currently sell their LWR01 presence sensor with Matter over Thread, are in the process of preparing an updated and upgraded model, simply named the LWR02, which was originally unveiled around a month ago. At present, Lafaer is offering slots for beta testers, with a view to releasing the new model in the next few months.
Like the existing model, the LWR02 will use Matter over Thread, offers mmWave presence detection and can be powered either via a USB cable or two AA batteries.
