Researchers are increasingly focused on understanding how gravity impacts quantum systems, and Kashiwagi and Matsumura, both from the Department of Physics and Quantum and Spacetime Research Institute at Kyushu University, have investigated the dissipative dynamics of a two-level atom within a weak gravitational field.
