The Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate will implement temporary road closures on several major roads in the capital from 5 to 7 February 2026. The measures coincide with the state visit of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to Indonesia.
The traffic restrictions will not be enforced continuously throughout the day. Instead, closures will be applied situationally, following the movement of the state guest’s motorcade. Roads will be reopened once the convoy has passed and closed again as required, depending on the official schedule and travel routes.
