The man who has been remanded in custody since November on charges in connection with the discovery of firearms and explosives at a house in Douglas was remanded in further custody until February 17.
Judge Liz Healy remanded the accused man in custody at Cork District Court on the application of Sergeant Gearóid Davis.
Paul Sheehan, aged 45, of Elm Drive, Shamrock Lawn, Douglas, Cork, appeared in court by video link from prison.
